The services offered by Understanding Autism NW are free of charge to all clients. We are constantly seeking funding to maintain and develop our services. Funding comes from a variety of sources, trusts & foundations and from donations.

In May 2020 we were awarded a grant from the National Lottery COVID-19 Emergency Fund towards the cost of therapy and administration to last for a period of six months.

Community Foundation For Lancashire manage grants on behalf of a number of organisations.

• In October 2020 we were awarded a grant towards core costs by the Christal Foundation.. 
  
• ​In April 2020 we were awarded a grant from the Community Foundation COVID-19 Emergency Fund to provide therapy through the pandemic.
  
• ​In November 2019 we were awarded a grant to provide therapy for autistic residents of Burnley by the Christal Foundation.
